Assessing “US Global Dominance”

Political-strategic forecasting is, however, a very challenging activity. “It is worth noting”, BBC reporters add, “that US intelligence has been wrong before”.
Will it be right on track this time? We will see.
However, serious geopolitical analysis, like that written by Dale C. Walton, predicted already in 2007 — on the basis of geopolitical theory and long-run history — that Eurasian powers would rise in the next decades. It remains to be seen if the U.S. will successfully adapt to the new geopolitical realities.
